ABOUT THE TRIP

This Kite & Wingfoil Trip is designed for riders who want to make the most of the unique conditions of the Dominican Republic while spending an unforgettable week of wind, progression, and great vibes alongside Manu Selman Manuel Selman.

Throughout the trip, Manu will guide the sessions with a focus on technique, safety, and personalized progression, helping each rider improve according to their level and goals. This trip goes far beyond the hours spent on the water. It's about sharing the full experience: epic sessions, group meals, sunsets, exploring incredible beaches, and all those moments that make a trip truly unforgettable.

A week of adventure, wind, and community where you'll not only take your kite or wingfoil skills to the next level, but also return home with new friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

LAS GOLONDRINAS

Located just minutes from the beach, between Cabarete and Playa Encuentro, Las Golondrinas Hotel will be our home base for the week.

Our modern property features a fully equipped gym, a semi-Olympic swimming pool, spacious common areas, and a unique rooftop terrace with ocean views. This will be our meeting point for video analysis sessions, sharing experiences after each day on the water, and enjoying the excellent cuisine from our restaurant.

We will stay in fully equipped apartments featuring a living room and private kitchen. All rooms include a private bathroom, air conditioning, balcony, and premium cotton bedding. Every detail has been designed to provide maximum comfort and help you recover after a day filled with wind, water, and adventure.

MANU SELMAN

Born in Chile and raised in the Dominican Republic, Manuel has achieved remarkable success throughout his professional surfing career, including becoming a Pan American Champion and a three-time Latin American Champion.

Living in Cabarete, the wind led him to discover and fall in love with kiteboarding and wingfoiling, where he quickly developed exceptional talent. As a team rider for Slingshot and Ride Engine, Manu will accompany us throughout the trip, sharing his expertise as both a rider and coach while taking us to his favorite spots around the island.

THE EXPERIENCE

Cabarete – Bay Beach & Encuentro

We'll be staying just minutes away from Cabarete's most iconic spots. Depending on the conditions, we'll ride at Bay Beach and Encuentro, working on wave-riding techniques for those looking to take their surfboard skills to the next level.

Punta Rucia – Downwinds & Crystal-Clear Waters

One of the highlights of the trip. We'll board a boat and head to Punta Rucia for a full day exploring this paradise of turquoise waters, steady wind, and endless riding space. A perfect spot for long kiteboarding and wingfoil sessions in a truly unique setting.

La Boca – Nature & Unforgettable Sessions

We'll ride at La Boca, one of the area's most unique spots, where the river meets the ocean, creating ideal conditions for both kiteboarding and wingfoiling. After the session, we'll enjoy lunch by the sea while taking in the stunning scenery and great group atmosphere.

Playa Grande – A Caribbean Paradise

We'll visit one of the most beautiful beaches in the region to relax and enjoy fresh local seafood with our feet in the sand. If the wind cooperates, we'll also have the opportunity to ride in its crystal-clear waters.

Corona Sessions

We’ll enjoy a night of Corona Sunset, a special moment at the end of the day to celebrate our adventures with a cold Corona, with live music on our rooftop.

Yoga Class

Nothing beats a good stretch and recovery session to keep the body feeling great and ready for another day on the water.
